How does ZipMyPic work?
ZipMyPic processes your images directly in your browser without uploading them to any server. This ensures your images remain private and secure.
What image formats are supported?
You can upload JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, and BMP images, and convert them to JPEG, PNG, or WebP output.
Is there a file size limit?
Yes, the maximum file size is 10MB to ensure smooth processing in your browser.
How do I get the best quality?
For photos, use JPEG with quality set to 80-90%. For graphics with transparency, use PNG. For modern web use, WebP offers excellent compression.
Why choose WebP format?
WebP provides superior compression compared to JPEG and PNG, often reducing file size by 25-35% with similar quality.
Can I convert multiple images at once?
Yes. Select or drag in multiple files (or paste an image from your clipboard) and they'll all be converted in one batch, with a "Download All as ZIP" option when there's more than one result.
Can I resize images while converting?
Yes, use the resize dropdown to cap the longest side at 3840px, 1920px, 1280px, or 800px, or leave it at "Original size" to keep the source dimensions.
Can I crop images?
Yes, it's optional. By default the crop dropdown is set to "Full image (no crop)" so your image converts exactly as uploaded. Switch it to "Free crop" to drag your own crop area on the preview, or pick a fixed ratio (Square, 4:5, 16:9, 9:16) to constrain it. Click "Reset Crop" to start over. When converting multiple images at once, your exact crop only applies to the first image — the rest get a centered crop matching the same ratio.
